This series is about the layering cycle of stories and histories told, remembered and forgotten overtime. These paintings as such are an interpretation of the tragic events of the Holocaust, as heard about from relatives, teachings, stories and histories told. Verbal interpretations are visualized through various symbology in the work. The verbal descriptions are captured from younger and older generations interpretations of events. The major question the work asks the viewer is:

How do we understand the affects of layers of memories from the past, in which we weren’t present, but continue to pass on?
